Nissan’s Sunderland Plant is situated on the north east coast of England alongside some of country’s most dramatic and beautiful countryside, and has been the UK’s largest car producer for the last 13 years.
As one of Europe’s most productive car plants, we recently produced our 6 millionth vehicle – but we’re not ready to stop there. Following 12 new model launches since the first car rolled off the line in 1986, we’re gearing up to welcome the 100% electric Nissan LEAF, as well as begin production at our lithium-ion battery manufacturing plant.
